I got into outbound by being on the receiving end of it
Boris Grosu, founder of Leadstrim. One person, named, running every campaign personally.
For three years I drove a truck across the United States. Long haul, real miles, real freight.
That job put me inside the daily operations of small trucking companies: the dispatchers working from spreadsheets, the paperwork that vanished somewhere between the driver and billing, the settlements that took weeks longer than they should have. I saw exactly which problems cost those businesses money, and which ones they had tolerated so long they had stopped noticing.
I also saw the sales emails those owners received. Hundreds of them. Nearly all deleted in under a second, because they were written by someone who had clearly never spent a day inside the business they were pitching.
That contrast is the whole reason Leadstrim exists.

What I actually do
Email & LinkedIn · nothing elseI book qualified meetings for freight and logistics companies through one-to-one outbound. Not volume. Not a purchased list sprayed at forty thousand addresses. Every prospect on a Leadstrim campaign is researched before contact — what they do, what stage they are at, what specific signal suggests they have the problem you solve right now. The message references that signal. That is why it gets answered.
-
Define the buyer, precisely
Not "carriers." The role, the fleet size, the company stage, and the operational trigger that makes what you sell urgent this quarter instead of next year.
-
Build the list by hand
Public data, hiring signals, tech footprints, lane postings, industry registries. Sourced for your campaign, never bought and never recycled from someone else's.
-
Write messages that name the problem
Short, specific, in the prospect's own vocabulary. If a message could be sent to any other company in the industry, it does not go out.
-
Run it compliantly
Real sender identity, working opt-out, physical address, CAN-SPAM and GDPR aligned, on a separate sending domain. Your domain reputation is an asset I am not willing to spend.
-
Report honestly
Sent, replied, booked. If a campaign is not working you hear it from me before you have to ask, along with what I am changing and why.
Where this is now
Stated plainlyLeadstrim is a young practice and I am deliberate about that.
There are no case studies on this site because there are no clients yet. I would rather tell you that than borrow someone else's logos. What I have is three years inside the industry, a method I can show you in full before you pay for anything, and the time to run your campaign myself.
I take a small number of clients at a time, because hand-researched outbound does not scale the way automated outbound pretends to. What you get is the person who drove the truck running your campaign, not an account manager relaying instructions to a tool.
When there are results worth showing, they will appear here with names and numbers attached.
Take the sample first
Tell me who you sell to and I will build twenty-five hand-researched prospects and write three messages for them, free, with no call required. If you would rather talk first, twenty minutes is enough to find out whether outbound is even the right channel for you. If it is not, I will tell you.
